Typing of Certified Copies for the originals complied in the
Copy applications as distributed by the Copyist
Superintendent.
Maintaining the Copyist ‘D’ Register for the Words typed.
To attend all other duties as assigned by the District
Judge/Presiding Officer then and there by means of Office order or by
means of oral order.

*Typing all the Depositions in both civil and Criminal cases in the
open court as dictated by the Subordinate judge. Drafting of
Decrees and Decreetal order in un-contested Civil Cases.
*Typing of correspondence of all branches and marinating of
Library Books.
*Typing of Certified copies for the originals complied in the Copy
Applications as distributed by the copyist Superintendent.
*Manintaining the Copyist “D” Register for the words typed.
*To attend all other duties as assigned by the District judge then
and their by means of office order or by means of oral order.

In Telangana State Govt, the pay scales for Stenographer, Copyist, and Typist are as follows:

Stenographer Grade III: Rs.22460-66330/-.
Copyist / Typist: Rs.15460-47330/-

These scales vary from State to State.

In Government of India, the posts Copyist and Typist doesn’t exist. As far as Stenographer is concerned, the basic pay starts from Rs.25,500/- (excluding allowances).
